Tier 1 cities continued to attract significant attention from Venture Capital and Private Equity (VC/PE) firms, with 66 deals compared to only 3 deals in Tier 2 & 3 cities. Angel investors were also more prominent in Tier 1 cities, participating in 12 deals, while Tier 2 & 3 cities saw just 3 angel investor deals. Family offices, however, were notably absent from smaller cities, focusing all 4 of their deals in Tier 1 regions.
